| This was AMAZINGLY written.
That said: there's just something I have to tell you.
Harry. Is. NOT. Going. To. Die.
"Neither can live while the other still lives": this means ONE of them has to die in order for the other to truly live. Harry has never had a full, happy life, and he can't til Voldemort's dead. Voldemort's gone down the toilet pretty much ever since the prophecy, and he can't hope for success unless Harry's dead.
Meaning: one has to kill the other.
NOT both have to die. |

Now THIS was masterful. I don't think there are enough war fics out there that do more than gloss over the battle and who won or lost. Harry's fear and desperation were palpable, and Bill's uncertainty about how events would play out as far as the battle and then his later uncertainty at his own attraction to Harry were handled wonderfully. Awesome job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm glad this worked for you. I haven't written much slash (only about 4 one-shot pieces as I write this response), but on the occasion that I read Bill-slash, I like him with Harry (or Remus). There was a writing challenge, and I thought I'd take it. This one-shot ended up being 3 times the originally planned cookie length. |

awww man I was hoping for more chapters. That was sad and sweet at the same time.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I was kind of going for sad and sweet because that's one way love can be. I do have an idea for a sequel of sorts after Harry dies (as set up by this story), but I haven't started to write it yet. |

I read this and I immediately thought this must be a great writer/. as I was reading, I felt like I was right there with Bill and Harry. You should really continue with slash. It's great to have good slash writers out there like you who can stand out from the bunch.
Author's Response: Honestly, I have never written very much slash. Thank you for the compliments, though, because this is one of the nicest reviews I have gotten. I was thinking about this since I got your review. |

WOW!!! What a story!! I absolutely loved it!! I like how you have Harry believing he's gonna be the one to bite the dust. Well written!
Author's Response: For some heroes, they know they have to make the ultimate self-sacrifice. It's a theme in literature and life. For me, Harry seems to be that kind of hero. He's approaching his destiny after learning of the prophecy knowing full-well what's going to happen. Thank you very much for reading. |

I really, really liked that. A lot. I'm off to read anything else you have, as well as more Bill/Harry if I can find it. I've never read this pairing before and doubt I'll be able to find much, but this was wonderful.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words! There is more Bill/Harry out there, but it is not one of the most written Harry slash ships. For Bill slash, I like him with Harry or Remus. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I enjoyed very much writing it, so it's been nice to share. |
